Chocolate Chip Banana Cake

100g sultana or raisins, 75ml whisky, 150g plain flour, 25g cocoa powder, 100g Hot Chocolates Sao Thome chocolate chips, 2 tsp baking powder, half tsp bicarb, half tsp salt, 125g melted butter, 150g golden caster sugar, 2 eggs, 4 ripe bananas (300g mashed). Heat oven to 170 degrees C (150 fan oven) Line and grease a 2lb loaf tin Put the raisins and whisky in a pan and bring to the boil. Remove from the heat and leave for 1 hr. Sieve together the flour, cocoa, baking powder, bicarb and salt and mix together with the chocolate chips. In another bowl add the butter and sugar and beat until blended. Add the eggs one at a time. Add the bananas and raisins. Add the flour mixture a third at a time, stirring well. Spoon into the tin and level off. Bake in the oven for 1 and a quarter hours. The cake is ready when a skewer, pushed into the cake, comes out clean.
